The Province and the City of Abbotsford have partnered together to develop new social and supportive housing.
The first city-owned property, at 3106 Clearbrook Road, is
proposed for 30 to 50 apartment-style units. This site is located
near schools and related community services. Given this proximity,
it may be suitable for women and children.
On April 3, 2009, the Province announced $11 million in funding
to begin construction on the first housing development to be
developed as part of the partnership between the Province and City
of Abbotsford to break the cycle of homelessness. More information
