Through the Priority Placement Program, BC Housing provides priority access for women and children fleeing abuse.
Family violence is one of the major causes of homelessness. BC
Housing provides priority access to safe, affordable
housing throughout the province for women and their children who
are fleeing abuse. This includes single women, women with
disabilities and seniors.
The Priority Placement Program provides women in the Lower
Mainland with assistance to establish community, health and
educational supports which will help ensure that they and their
children break free from the cycle of violence.
